(haha, i found this from a long time ago...)
With your eyes, up and down,
Compare me to a scale,
Of yesterday's lunch.
Society breeds.
Learn a lesson in life,
Reciprocate so you don't lose,
So you won't fall,
Alone.
Memories will stay in my head,
Where I anchor them, so they won't fly away.
Like helium balloons,
Tied on white fences,
Be careful, they pop easily.
Splattered colors lie on the grass,
The sky continues to grow.
Mistakes.
Hope lies on the heart,
A silver locket with a long chain.
Hidden behind layers,
And warm to the touch.
If the key is gold, how will it fit?
If it's not perfect, how will it last?
Question, wonder, discover
Life has it's ups and downs.
Choose.
Aldo: i don't know why but some reason i feel this picture represents my life...

i think that picture represents IMSA extremely well.
the pebbles and grit are soph year, for the resistance one encounters.
the dark and gloomy "lake" is junior year, for the long, treacherous journey one has yet to make. note how it's so big compared to the rest of the features in the picture.
the meadow is senior year, for the pleasure and happiness it brings. however, it is short and seems far away.
yet, the giant cars and buildings indicate that it is such a small place relative to the world at large. however, the way we see it (analogized to the camera's objective), the pebbles, the grass, and the pond are 90% of everything. for IMSA students, IMSA is everything. we know about the bigger world outside of it, but don't experience it as it isn't in our focus (neither are the bigger things. get it?)
beautiful.
oh, and i cant work the trident wrapper into this analogy.
Perhaps the sweet, happy-go-lucky lifestyle before IMSA, which is now gone?
yeah, sounds good to me
:D
good analysis.
haha.
Pretty and thoughtful. The Trident wrapper is a nice touch.
